Fujiko is a bit down at the moment. She always gets down after a boyfriend dumps her. This would be the third one since her time at Hephaestus. Fujiko has had bad luck with men. They either don't want commitment like Fujiko wants, or they just want to climb her mountains. Or worse, they find someone who works with them better. It's hard for Fujiko to keep up her cheerful demeanor after getting dumped. Oh, who am I kidding? It's impossible. Fujiko is always surrounded by the proverbial raincloud when she gets dumped. She sometimes even breaks down crying in the middle of her class. Some students love it when Fujiko gets dumped, because she doesn't feel like teaching. Others just feel sorry for the cute teacher.

Fujiko wants love. Most of her former classmates have gone out and have had a long-lasting relationship or are married. Fujiko's longest relationship was three months. Her former classmates have stopped asking about Fujiko's love life out of respect for her. If she's with someone, it's not hard to tell. It's practically the exact opposite from when she gets dumped. Fujiko smiles, giggles, and is downright determined to be the best wife-to-be ever. That might be one reason she ends up single a lot, she does practically smother her lovers in, well, love.

Character Background: Fujiko was born in Yokohama, Japan. Frankly, not much happened during her early life. That was, until, a 10-year-old Fujiko saved a man from drowning during a storm. She jumped into the water to try to save him. Her parents just weren't able to catch the ball of energy that was a young Fujiko. They called out for her, and were about to jump in, when Fujiko popped out of the water with the man in tow. This man... ended up being the newly-appointed Governor of Kanagawa Prefecture, Shigefumi Matsuzawa. Governor Matsuzawa's car had slid off the road, and he was thrown into the ocean. Had a quick-thinking (and downright superhuman at that time) Fujiko not been there, he would have drowned. Fujiko was given a key to the city and recognition for a few weeks.

But then, people started to wonder how she was able to do that. It was rumored that she was a Fallen, and quickly, everyone shied away from her. In middle school, Fujiko was bullied to the point that her parents had to pull her out of the school. That is when they were approached by "appraisers," people who were checking to see if Fujiko was qualified to enter a specialized academy. Fujiko did pass their tests, and her parents were told that there was a school that Fujiko could be sent to that specialized in caring for Fallen. They talked to Fujiko about it, and Fujiko agreed to go. She was tired of being bullied. She so couldn't get a boyfriend like that. And so, Fujiko went to Hephaestus. She graduated too. Fujiko was even captain of a swimming club for a good chunk of her time in school. But after graduating, Fujiko stayed. She became a teacher there, so she could help out people like herself.
