Personality: Kaori is a pretty upbeat gal. She tries to remain on top of her emotions, and it works usually. She's seen smiling, laughing, and being a nice person to be around. Well, if you like smartasses. Kaori has a bit of a smartass mouth from her older brother. They would bicker and fight, and Kaori learned from the best how to respond to people being shitheads. This makes her confrontational, and she's arrogant enough to feel like she can win a normal fight. So long as it's not against a Captain, Lieutenant, or seated officer, she thinks she can probably win it. Another thing about Kaori is that she's sweet enough to want to adopt a cat she sees in an alley. She'll do her puppy eyes and ask "can I keep it?" Thinking on such acts logically, she realizes she would be a terrible pet owner. She's too unfocused to have a pet. Kaori has a goal, and although she strives for it constantly, there's a part of her feels that she will never get to it.

Character Background: Kaori was born in the Rukongai. She was saved by a young man and his father. The two took her in and raised her. The father died not long after, and her savior was forced to watch out for her. She was a young kid, and her older brother was only a few years older. Although her older brother got into trouble a lot, he always made sure to watch out for her. Even when he went away, Kaori was given money from her big brother. He'd sneak out and find her, and the two would talk through letters. Kaori fell ill for a while, and her brother couldn't return to help her. She was given more money, and she moved to a higher-level district of the Rukongai. Kaori was given good medical treatment, and she vowed to repay her brother—despite his protests. Eventually, she enrolled in the Shino Academy. Despite her health, Kaori was placed decently high in her class. This was especially true when it came to her skill in Kidō. Because of that, she was placed in the 5th Division. She has some reservations about being in the 5th due to her Captain, but she feels it's the best place to achieve her goal—to be a Lieutenant one day. She doesn't want to be a Captain, as she doesn't feel like she's a good enough leader (among other things), so she aims to be a Lieutenant. Right now, she has made some progress. She is currently the 9th Seat of the 5th Division, and she aims to go even higher.



Unreleased Abilities: Kaori is an overall average Shinigami for her position. That is until you get to Kidō. That is where she excels, which is why she was put into the 5th Division. Kaori is a Hadō specialist, although her skill with Bakudō is not far behind.
